MP Vadym Novynskyi took part in the Yalta European Strategy (YES) Annual Meeting in Kyiv. Theme of the 16th annual conference is “Happiness Now. New Approaches for a World in Crisis”.
During the event, participants were discussing the global challenges of the future, as well as the political situation in Ukraine and Europe. MP Vadym Novynskyi noted in a commentary to reporters that the theme of happiness was a global one. He also called a qualitatively new approach to the development of the state from the point of view of the happiness of an ordinary person.
“The work of the entire state apparatus, all branches of government should be aimed at ensuring that every Ukrainian is happy. This topic is global, and it was very important to discuss it in order to consider the development of the state from the point of view of the happiness of an ordinary person,” Vadym Novynskyi said.
He noted the right directions of work voiced during a speech at the YES forum by President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
“I liked Zelenskyy’s speech; in it he outlined the main areas of activity of the president and his team. If he is successful in this area of activity, then all Ukraine will be successful. Here, all branches of government should work to stop the war, overcome poverty, eliminate corruption,” the MP added.
