This was stated by the head of oppositionist of Kharkiv Oblast, MP Dmytro Shentsev following the meeting with medical workers of the city of Kupiansk, Kharkiv Oblast.
The MP noted that meetings with voters allowed to outline the circle of urgent problems that medical workers face every day. Most of them have arisen and continue to worsen due to the medical reform of the current authorities, which is detrimental to the economy and the Ukrainians themselves.
He also recalled that after the adoption of the Law on “Improving the Accessibility and Quality of Medical Services in Rural Areas”, the Ministry of Health vigorously reported on achievements. In reality, there is no real success in the “reform”. “30% of the population of Ukraine live in rural areas. According to the Ministry of Regional Development, in almost 80% of rural dispensaries there is an elementary lack of water supply and sanitation. So what kind of victories and reforms can we talk about? How can people be treated and saved in such conditions?” the oppositionist was indignant.
According to Dmytro Shentsev, only a complete reboot of the authorities, the abolition of fake medical reform and the introduction of insurance medicine, which the presidential candidate from the OPPOSITION BLOC Oleksandr Vilkul insists on, will save the medical industry from a final collapse. “The introduction of insurance medicine will help our citizens to get fast and high-quality medical care in private and public clinics and hospitals, without queues and at a convenient time for them. All steps towards people will be implemented after the victory of Oleksandr Vilkul and the OPPOSITION BLOC in the elections,” the parliamentarian concluded.
