According to Dmytro Kolesnikov, MP from the OPPOSITION BLOC, the pre-election gas price reduction is over. If from May 1, the gas tariff for the population has decreased by 30 kopecks per cubic meter, then in June the new price will increase by almost 5%.
“30 kopecks – and how much was a farce and PR, 30 kopecks is the scale of governmental “victories,” the oppositionist said.
Thus, according to the MP, the new tariff will not only reach the price that was before May, but will easily exceed it. However, this is far from the limit, because until the end of the year, the upper price bracket for gas for the population is set at UAH 9717.
“For the new heating season, the government prepared only new tariffs, completely forgetting about its direct responsibilities. Against the background of rising wage arrears and a constant decline in the solvency of the population, a new round of growth in tariffs for heating, water and gas will become just an unbearable burden, because there is no place to tighten the belt. Apparently, Groysman is going to the parliament in order to fight there with his own tariffs,” Dmytro Kolesnikov emphasized.
