Borys Kolesnikov: Ukrainian power is obliged to lobby Ukrainian enterprises of the Donbas, opening new export markets for them

The ban on lending to enterprises located in the territory of the Donbas controlled by Ukraine greatly complicated the life of local engineering. The state is also not engaged in lobbying national producers in the international market. This was stated by the Prime Minister of the Opposition Government, Borys Kolesnikov, during his working visit to the Druzhkivka hardware plant (Donetsk Oblast).

According to Borys Kolesnikov, Druzhkivka has always been one of the fundamental cities in the engineering industry of the Donbas. Unfortunately, in recent years, for various reasons, many serious machine-building enterprises in the region have declined.

“Because of the war, investors in the Donbas enterprises are afraid to invest. Moreover, the government also did everything so that they were not invested. On the one hand, President Zelensky says about the development of infrastructure, and on the other hand, the National Bank adopts such idiotic decisions to ban lending to the Donbas enterprises. It is good that now these regulations are canceled. Therefore, having adjusted the networks, we can safely talk about the future of the Donbas,” the Opposition Prime Minister said.

He believes that the resuscitation of the engineering industry in the region should take from 18 to 24 months, as problems remain with sales markets.

“All states defend the interests of their enterprises, not hesitating to lobby them. Nowhere in the world there is a market economy without national interests. All are lobbyists, in a good sense of the word. The Ukrainian power is obliged to lobby Ukrainian enterprises, opening new export markets for them,” the politician emphasized.

Also, the Opposition Prime Minister announced the opening of his public reception in Druzhkivka. “Now residents of the city have the opportunity to address their questions, requests and problems. We will help as far as possible,” Borys Kolesnikov concluded.
