Borys Kolesnikov: Without the modern cooperation system our countryside is doomed

Introducing the modern system of cooperation is to solve the plethora of problems that people who live in Ukrainian villages have to face. This is the statement made by the Head of Political Council of Opposition Bloc and the Prime Minister of the Opposition Government, Borys Kolesnikov, during his official visit to Donetsk oblast.

He is convinced that establishing cooperation is the key to solve great many problems of the Ukrainian countryside. “Developing cooperation is the key to solve great many problems of Ukrainian countryside. In order to have small businesses growing in villages we need 0% loans to back crisp and concise business plans. Then every family or team can be successful”, - the opposition leader stated.

Borys Kolesnikov reminded that half of the European Union budget aims at supporting the countryside. “The Europe’s largest cooperative, Valio, is based in Finland and has been known for many decades. Today Valio has 25 thousand members and has been working for more than 110 years. This is the example of cooperation to look up to”, - the Head of Political Council of Opposition Bloc stated.

Borys Kolsenikov has no doubt that the more efforts the state puts into taking care of the countryside, the more return on these efforts we are going to see. “We must bring the true cooperation back to our country. The one we had in the USSR but adjusted to the free markets world we live in today. Then we can build everything anew. I am convinced that it is the modern system of cooperation that can save our countryside”, - Borys Kolesnikov accented.
