MP from the OPPOSITION BLOC faction Oleksandr Vilkul urged all electoral process participants to behave honestly.
“I warn of any provocations, falsifications and intimidation of people. Dirty elections destroy the legitimacy of the vote; false “winners” are necessary neither in the country nor abroad. The authorities must ensure the rule of law in the country. Voters should be sure that no one will steal their votes, and all candidates, their headquarters, members of election commissions, up to the Central Election Commission, will act strictly within the law,” Vilkul emphasized.
According to the opposition leader, the preparation for the elections was accompanied by scandals, and there was enough evidence that the government did not pass the test of elections. But voting day will be a new serious test.
“Fair elections influence the image of Ukraine in Europe and the world. I urge everyone to behave honestly and the right of Ukrainian voters to choose a president whom they trust, and that way for Ukraine, which will ensure peace and development for it,” Vilkul noted.
