In a situation of underfunding of education by the current authorities, the OPPOSITION BLOC will do everything to create the right conditions for the quality education of our children. This was stated by the deputy from the OPPOSITION BLOC of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Council, Oleksandr Kirkov, following a meeting with the residents of the Volniansky district of Zaporizhzhia Oblast.
The deputy was addressed by the heads of communities and educational institutions with issues of financing repairs and equipment purchases. Oleksandr Kirkov considered the possibility of targeted distribution of funds of the deputy fund for these purposes in 2019.
According to him, this year it is planned to reconstruct many educational institutions. “It is necessary to change windows for energy-saving, purchase furniture for a children’s music school, equipment for playgrounds, multimedia boards for first classes, furniture for a physical classroom. In a situation of underfunding of education by the current authorities, we will do everything to create the right conditions for the quality education of our children,” the deputy noted.
The politician stressed that Volniansky district deserves development, which begins with schools, medical institutions and other social facilities. “Not for the first year and not for the first deputy cadence, I systematically assist district institutions by attracting funding from the regional budget. And in regional programs I include repairs and reconstruction of objects. The deputy fund is one of the most effective tools for the development of regions today. This year I will continue to finance schools and kindergartens. After all, the modernization of educational institutions is our contribution to the development of the country,” Oleksandr Kirkov emphasized.Recall, MP from the OPPOSITION BLOC, presidential candidate Oleksandr Vilkul proposes in his program to change the order of filling the budget. As a result, the most of taxes will remain in local budgets, which will allow to develop regions, rather than enrich officials in the capital.
