Residents of the villages of Kondrativka, Kurtivka, Sofiivka, Osynove, Torske, Pavlivka, Mykolaipillia, Novopavlivka and others nominated Borys Kolesnikov as a candidate for people’s deputies in the 49th constituency (Donetsk Oblast).
In the club of the village of Kondrativka, the Prime Minister of the Opposition Government, philanthropist and President of the Charitable Foundation, Borys Kolesnikov, met with residents of the Kostiantynivsky district. Borys Viktorovich thanked his countrymen for their trust, and promised to defend the interests of the hromada with all his might.
“I would like your children and grandchildren to have a future and not leave here. What will the indicator be that everything works out in Kostiantynivka and Druzhkivka? The indicator will be when people here start to build and buy new housing. This means they have hope for a stable tomorrow. Our task is simple – to ensure that the Donbas is respected. It must be respected,” Borys Kolesnikov emphasized.
According to the opposition, people need decent wages, a decent standard of living.
“When Germany reunited after the fall of the Berlin Wall, residents of the GDR said that they were better off in the socialist camp. “We were confident of our future and the future of our children,” this was the main indicator for them.”
According to the politician, in order for pensioners to feel protected, it is necessary the pension to be at least 40 percent of the salary. Such a situation is all over the world. But we do not have this, because the salary is paid in envelopes, and the salary is a deduction to the pension fund. It is necessary this system to work.
“As for the Kostiantynivsky district, there are many challenges. The first is water supply. All our challenges begin with the Slaviansk culvert, built in 1952. It was modernized about 30 years ago. But time has taken its toll. Therefore, we have prepared a water program for the northern Donbas. The pipelines leading to Kostiantynivka, Druzhkivka, Pokrovsk districts need to be changed completely. Otherwise, without water, we will not survive.
The second challenge is the roads. And we will definitely deal with them. We need water and roads to develop production and jobs in rural areas. In one of the villages, we now want to start production of decent salami, in another, for example, - build a bakery, in the third - open the production of jams, especially since a lot is not needed for this. We need every village to be famous for something. How was it once. Therefore, the program of the villages is very important so that the young people do not leave us. ”
According to Borys Kolesnikov, in addition to the free driving school and the kitchen of cooking art, opened by his Charitable Foundation in educational institutions of Kostiantynivka, many more interesting projects are being planned.
“We want to expand this list and open the training of sewing skills, sewing shoes. For this purpose, the lyceums will have to create appropriate conditions on the most modern equipment. Education is the most important part of our life. If we do not have competent young people, we have no future,” the Prime Minister of the Opposition Government said.
