The deputy of the Odesa Regional Council fr om the OPPOSITION BLOC, Iryna Kovalysh, the trustee of the presidential candidate from the opposition Oleksandr Vilkul, met with residents of the Bilhorod-Dnistrovsky district of Odesa Oblast. Dozens of people waited for the arrival of the politician. At the meeting, people not only focused on pressing problems, and were especially angry over the fact that the current authorities simply ignored them. For example, the quality of the provision of public services, in particular, the water tariff, and their incommensurability with meager and even demeaning salaries and pensions, are still acute.
“We do not understand wh ere such predatory tariffs came from. In our bills, there are such figures as 20 and 26 hryvnia per cubic meter of water. And soon it may reach 40. Is water being delivered to us from Mars?” the people were outraged.
Residents of the region are extremely dissatisfied with the ongoing armed confrontation in the east of Ukraine. For five years now, the current authorities have been writing off their own failures in economic and social policy, as well as the money stolen from the country, and therefore from each of us. The state’s foreign policy causes sincere indignation of Ukrainians: during the years of Poroshenko’s presidency, Ukraine lost its prestige in the international arena. Neither America, nor Russia, or Europe believes seriously in the current authorities. And our country is already at the bottom of the list of third world countries, and continues to slide down.
“In Ukraine, there is only one political force that has always advocated and is in favor of a peaceful resolution of the conflict in the east of the country. This is the OPPOSITION BLOC. The opposition candidate Oleksandr Vilkul is the only politician who could stop the war after being elected president. And he is not alone in the main desire of the Ukrainians. We have a team that will be able to return peace to Ukraine, sustainable development to the economy, and stability and well-being to our hard-working people,” Iryna Kovalish emphasized.Residents of the Bilhorod-Dnistrovsky district, who came to the meeting, unanimously supported the opposition candidate and his program. They sincerely believe that in the upcoming presidential elections in March, everyone who cares about Ukraine’s fate will do the same.
