MP from the OPPOSITION BLOC Serhiy Sazhko developed the draft law No. 10318-2 “On alternative energy sources”. The purpose of the document is to restore the lost rights of private households that produce alternative electrical energy from solar radiation.
“I submitted the draft law № 10318-2 to eliminate the legal collision. When the previous laws were adopted, the norm on the “green” tariff for installations up to 30 kW was missed, and this affects the interests of ordinary people who have already spent and set green panels for themselves,” the MP said.
It is worth noting that today private households that have become eligible on a “green” tariff, use generating installations with a capacity not exceeding 30 kW. This power is enough to provide with electricity, and to sell the surplus to the state.
Moreover, according to the State Energy Efficiency, at the end of 2018 in Ukraine there were about 7,500 private households using solar power plants. Considering that in 2014 their number was about 20, the dynamics of development of this area is very active and, of course, promising for Ukraine. Therefore, there was a need to stimulate the population, whose rights were erroneously limited by the adopted Law of Ukraine “On Amendments to Certain Laws of Ukraine Concerning Ensuring Competitive Conditions for the Production of Electric Energy from Alternative Energy Sources”.
