Volodymyr Husak: Saakashvili will be used to destroy the remnants of Petro Poroshenko’s rating

MP from the OPPOSITION BLOC Volodymyr Husak on the “Nash” TV channel expressed his point of view regarding the return of Mykhailo Saakashvili to Ukraine.

The oppositionist reported on only one political question for Saakashvili: “Why does he want to take part in the political life of Ukraine? He is not Ukrainian. I mean that he did not live in our country for many years. His family does not live in our country, and I am convinced that he does not plan for his children to live here. Especially nothing binds him to Ukraine. Why does not he want to take part in the political life of Georgia? In a country where he seemed to be a very successful President, he carried out reforms and made it prosperous,” Husak noted.

In addition, a member of the OPPOSITION BLOC faction expressed doubt regarding grounds for granting Saakashvili Ukrainian citizenship. “But if he was deprived of it illegally, then, of course, everything should be according to the law. However, I do not understand it politically. The same applied to Uliana Suprun. We are confident that Ukraine must be built by people whose life is connected with Ukraine, who live in this country and who hope that their children will live in Ukraine,” the MP stated.

Answering the question about the reason to return Saakashvili, Volodymyr Husak noted that Saakashvili would be used to destroy the remnants of the rating of Petro Poroshenko: “The tasks of the current Presidential Administration and Mr. Saakashvili’s personal grievances coincide. He will consistently and diligently destroy the political force of the former President of Ukraine. Perhaps, this destruction will benefit Ukraine. It becomes sad for Mr. Saakashvili. According to him, he was a successful President of a successful country, and now he is turning into something resembling a political jester,” Husak summarized.
