The results of the first round of elections are evidence that the policy of the current authorities does not find support in Ukrainian society. This was said on the TV channel “Priamyi” by the MP from the OPPOSITION BLOC Volodymyr Husak.
“The Verkhovna Rada has already lost a month, considering the draft law on the state language, and wants to lose another two weeks. President, representatives of the coalition decided for the people that this issue is now very crucial and necessary. However, we see that in the first round of presidential election the candidate wins, who in everyday life and on stage widely uses a language other than Ukrainian. At the same time, he becomes neither better nor worse for voters. This indicates the language issue, pushed by the current authorities, is not very concerned with society,” the MP said.
According to him, Ukrainian society is concerned about completely different things. However, the authorities ignore it and spend time on humanitarian issues instead of solving economic and social issues.
“I think that in the second round of the presidential election, at least 65% of voters will vote against the policy of the current authorities, that is, against Poroshenko,” Volodymyr Husak emphasized.
