Vadym Novynskyi honored the memory of the victims of the air crash at Sheremetyevo

The head of the OPPOSITION BLOC parliamentary faction, Vadym Novynskyi, on May 6, laid flowers at the Embassy of the Russian Federation in Ukraine as a sign of memory and condolences to the relatives of those killed in the fire on board the plane at Sheremetyevo Airport.

“Today, having arrived in Kyiv, I immediately came here to honor the memory of those killed in the terrible tragedy at Sheremetyevo. On behalf of myself and on behalf of the OPPOSITION BLOC faction, I express my sympathy and grief to the families of the victims,” Vadym Novynskyi expressed his support and condolences and wished speedy recovery to all those who are now in hospitals.

He noted that Kyiv residents had already come to the Embassy of the Russian Federation to express their grief and lay flowers. The oppositionist is confident that, despite the fact that politicians are trying in every way to divide the nations, people still remain united and express condolences to the grief of each other.

The Ukrainian and Russian peoples are united by empathy for the families of those whose lives were claimed by this tragedy. And it is important to take a lesson from each such situation in order to prevent its recurrence. That is why now it is so necessary to provide a safe and peaceful sky over Ukraine.

According to official data, about 41 people were killed in the air crash, and several other passengers, including a Ukrainian citizen, were hospitalized. In total, there were 78 people on the plane. The plane flew from Moscow to Murmansk on Sunday evening, May 5.
