Today, MP Vadym Novynskyi visited Checkpoint for entry-exit in the ATO zone “Hnutovo”. He came to see conditions for the citizens of Ukraine who cross demarcation like at this point.
According to the MP, he repeatedly heard people’s complaints about the long hour queues at the “Hnutovo”. During Novynskyi’s visit, there were indeed many who wanted to cross the demarcation line.
“Residents complain that it takes them 3-4 hours in demarcation line to move from one village to another, to see their relatives or just go on business. This is wrong, it is necessary to get away from this and strive for sustainable peace and the implementation of the Minsk agreements,” Novynskyi said.
The MP stressed the need to strive for the final withdrawal of troops. He also noted great hopes on the new President and the Verkhovna Rada on this issue.
“I understand how the Mariupol needs peace. After all, the residents of this city are in close proximity to the demarcation line, and they live in alarm every day, so it should not be like that,” he concluded.
