Speaking at the “Together to the Peace” forum, mayor of Mariupol Vadym Boychenko called on citizens to unite around Vadym Novynskyi and the OPPOSITION BLOC.
“Dear Mariupol! We went through difficult times together. Together we restored Talakivka, Sartana, Vostochny microdistrict. And I am proud of each of you. Together we have formed a strategy for the development of the city; we have received in our family 150 thousand new Mariupol residents. The whole world has learned about us as a city of solidarity. And I believe that by joining together we will be able to solve the main problem – to stop the war, stop the bloodshed and start a new chapter in the modern history of Ukraine – a stage of peace and development,” he said, addressing the forum participants.
According to the politician, only by peaceful means, without gunfire: high-quality roads, renovated schools and hospitals, new parks and squares it is possible to restore the integrity of the country and provide Mariupol with a decent future. The main obstacle to the development of the city Vadym Boychenko called unrealized repair and restoration plans important for the entire region of the highway Mariupol - Zaporizhia, requiring about UAH 55 billion of investments.
“In order to open the airport, restore the automobile and railway communication with the city, develop the city, the voice of the Donbas, the voice of Mariupol, the voice of the OPPOSITION BLOC should sound firmly in the Verkhovna Rada. Our team came in 2015 to build and develop. Today we see how the city is changing. These changes have specific names and faces, whose soul and heart are imbued with love for Mariupol. This is the OPPOSITION BLOC party and Vadym Novynskyi”, the mayor of Mariupol said.
According to him, Vadym Novinskyi’s help has already made possible the implementation of several projects in the city – “Veselka” Park, the symbol of Mariupol – a fountain, a beautiful temple, which is being built in the center of the city. “I want you, dear Mariupol residents, to support us so that our children believe in their native city and country, as our team believes that Mariupol and Ukraine have a future!” Vadym Boychenko summarized.
