Tetiana Bakhteieva: Uliana Suprun – as a person with dual citizenship and without a medical diploma confirmed in Ukraine – cannot be the Minister of Health

MP from the OPPOSITION BLOC Tetiana Bakhteieva hopes that the position of President Zelensky regarding the reforms of the Groysman government will force the acting Minister of Health Suprun to resign.

“President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky in his inaugural speech made it clear that he, like most Ukrainians, was dissatisfied with the work of the Cabinet. The acting Minister Suprun announced her intention not to leave her post, despite the fact that the Zelensky team did not see her in her post,” the MP said.

According to her, a person with dual citizenship who does not have a medical diploma confirmed in Ukraine and who does not understand the realities of Ukrainian healthcare cannot be a minister in Ukraine.

Not targeted squandering of taxpayers’ money, confirmed by an audit of the Accounting Chamber of Ukraine, failed purchases of drugs and vaccines with the participation of international organizations, Ukraine’s first place in Europe in the number of measles cases, ambulance destroyed and the closure of hundreds of hospitals are the results of the Ministry of Health team, because of which thousands of Ukrainians have already affected, become ill and died. Courts, deputy inquiries, active protests of doctors and patients, Suprun’s first place in the anti-ranking of officials, have not been heard by the authorities until today, and Suprun continues to illegally hold her post,” the MP said.

Tetiana Bakhteieva hopes that the position of President Zelensky regarding the reforms of the Groysman government will force Suprun to resign. “I would like to believe that the principled position of President Zelensky will force the acting president Minister Suprun to take a sheet, a pen and release her place for those who will think about the next generations of Ukrainians,” Tetiana Bakhteieva emphasized.
