Tetiana Bakhteieva: Reforms will be impossible if people without education and corrupt officials from the former authorities are allowed to enter them

The complete rejection of the medical pseudo-reform carried out by Uliana Suprun is a consistent position of the medical community, doctors and patients. The new President of Ukraine is obliged to enter into a constructive dialogue with Ukrainian doctors. This was stated by MP from the OPPOSITION BLOC, member of the Parliamentary Committee on Health Tetiana Bakhteieva.

According to her, the newly elected Head of State should meet with doctors and scientists. “The medical community of Ukraine would like to participate in the implementation of these pro-Ukrainian health care reforms in close contact with the team of Volodymyr Zelensky. The medical genocide of the people of Ukraine must be urgently stopped,” Bakhteieva wrote on her Facebook page.

She hopes that the new President will eliminate everything that has made life unbearable for the past five years. “Volodymyr Zelensky reacted in a national and Ukrainian way to pseudo-reforms carried out by the Acting Minister of Health. He said: “If there are no quality medicines, normal prices for medicines, normal conditions in hospitals, normal salaries for doctors, what kind of reform is this?” What Volodymyr Zelensky said in the face of the outgoing authorities is the cry of the whole people of Ukraine,” the MP said.

According to her, Zelensky was immediately attacked by the acting Minister of Health Suprun, “grantees”, deputies - lobbyists and pseudo-reformers. “Suprun shouts that “it is not necessary to spread fakes” about her “excellent reform” and that the pseudo-reform she has begun cannot be stopped regardless of who will be the President of Ukraine. Suprun has dual citizenship, but does not have a medical diploma confirmed in Ukraine. And in violation of all the norms of Ukrainian laws, she has been holding a position of the acting Minister of Health for about 2 years,” she wrote.

According to Bakhteieva, the grantees do not need Ukraine; they are concerned about the conservation feeders at UAH 20 billion in the accounts of international purchasing organizations.

“Deputies - lobbyists and pseudo-reformers are trying in every way to join the political position of Volodymyr Zelensky. Due to the fault of the leadership of the Ministry of Health, the grantees, and deputies without principles, who yesterday supported and pushed through the pseudo-reform, and today they criticize its results, the situation in healthcare today is catastrophic. Such wolves in sheep’s clothing can ruin and completely discredit any undertakings of the Zelensky team to reform the health care system. Reforms will be impossible if incompetent people are allowed to conduct them, without medical education and unprincipled corrupt officials who faithfully served the previous authorities,” Bakhteieva stressed.
