In Ukraine, the crisis continues to evolve due to the fact that the current rulers pay more attention to the interests of their foreign political curators, rather than the problems of their own state and population. And promoted “reforms” are aimed not at improving the living standards of Ukrainians, but at solving the business interests of the authorities.
Such disappointing results of Poroshenko’s management of the country were summed up by Svitlana Fabrykant, the trustee of Oleksandr Vilkul, the candidate for president of Ukraine from the OPPOSITION BLOC at the meeting with residents of the northern districts of Odesa Oblast.
According to Svitlana Fabrykant, against the background of the bleeding, non-healing wounds of the conflict in the east of Ukraine, politicians close to the president become involved in the investigations of the Anti-Corruption Bureau and prosecutors’ offices at various levels. At the same time, the permissiveness of many businessmen close to the president and his entourage is virtually unlimited, there is chaos in parliament, which is established by pro-government political forces, at the state level there are no purposeful strategies for the development of various spheres of the state, and Ukraine is becoming the leader of almost all the world anti-ratings.
The inhabitants of Podolsk added to this another topic imposed by Kyiv: those who had forcibly become Podolsk residents were outraged - nobody even asked their community about their desire to be called that.
“Everything that is done under Poroshenko, the so-called “decommunization” and language policy only deepen the split of Ukrainian society. After the victory of Oleksandr Vilkul, the regions will be free to determine humanitarian, cultural, historical and language policies. This will allow the communities to independently determine in local referendums what holidays to celebrate and what monuments to put,” Svitlana Fabrykant stated.
Responding to questions, Svitlana Fabrykant said that she had very carefully and seriously approached the choice of the candidate. She knows Oleksandr Vilkul not the first day, she also studied the programs of all applicants who participate in the election campaign for the right to become president of Ukraine this year. In addition to the personal and professional qualities of Oleksandr Vilkul, I am attracted to his program – the most professionally prepared and real to implement. This document contains specific steps; a draft law is prepared for each item, which, if Oleksandr Vilkul elected, after the inauguration, the very next day will be submitted to the Verkhovna Rada. And, Svitlana Fabrykant is sure, it will be voted.
Unlike the authorities, more and more Ukrainians understand that the establishment of peace is the most important guarantee of the country’s further success, and among all political forces, only the OPPOSITION BLOC today constructively supports the peace and development of Ukraine.
“We must have political courage and will to go the way of the peace. The mechanism is almost universal for solving conflicts around the world. Everything is spelled out in the Minsk agreements. There is no other way. The first thing that should happen is to sit at the negotiating table directly with everyone, even with whom the current authorities do not want to sit at the negotiating table. We are in the sphere of geopolitical interests of two powerful powers. And peace in Ukraine is impossible until they shake hands with each other. Then – neutral peacekeepers with an extended mandate on the demarcation line to end the armed phase of the conflict. After the implementation of the first four points of the Minsk agreements, at the legislative level, the following steps need to be taken: amnesty, electoral law, social rehabilitation, reintegration, local elections. Only after this it is possible to deploy peacekeepers to the state border for the appropriated period of time. This is the experience of countries that have already passed through this, which they shared with us and revealed effective mechanisms for how to achieve peace,” Svitlana Fabrykant said.
There was a discussion of the so-called “Petro’s thousand” among the people. As never before, cynically using the administrative resource, the authorities launched a large-scale network of buying off voters. The Ukrainians, who do not understand what is happening and are deprived of information, are scared: does it mean that they are already criminals? Is it considered now that they have already voted for Poroshenko?
“We all have a good chance to appreciate Poroshenko’s activities as president and to send him to a political landfill on March 31. The time has come for Oleksandr Vilkul – the time to restore peace, the time to fight poverty, the time to support population, the revival of industry and the creation of conditions for normal operation and business development. Do not be afraid, come to the polling stations on March 31 and vote for a peaceful and successful Ukraine,” Svitlana Fabrykant, the trustee of the presidential candidate from the OPPOSITION BLOC Oleksandr Vilkul, summed up.
