The rating of the candidate for the post of President of Ukraine from the OPPOSITION BLOC Oleksandr Vilkul demonstrates steady growth, while the electoral support of the self-nominee candidate Yuriy Boyko has significantly decreased in industrial regions. This is evidenced by the results of a public opinion survey conducted on request of the Ukrainian Policy Foundation.
According to the survey, 8,7% of voters who made their choice are going to support Oleksandr Vilkul. 7,5 % of the respondents are ready to vote for the self-nominee Yuriy Boyko, who is losing the support in industrial regions.
The greatest number of respondents in the upcoming elections are ready to vote for Volodymyr Zelenskyi – 20,5% of those who have precisely decided on their choice. In the second place is the leader of Batkivshchyna, Yulia Tymoshenko - 15.9%. A slight backlog is demonstrated by the current President of Ukraine, Petro Poroshenko - 15.5%.
Anatoliy Grytsenko - 12.9% - in the fourth place. 10.3% of the determined respondents are ready to vote for the leader of the Radical Party, Oleh Lyashko. The leader of the “Nashi” party, Yevhen Muraiev, enjoys the support of 3.2%.
About 5.5% are ready to support another candidate. 10.7% of respondents found it difficult to answer questions regarding support for the candidate.The study was conducted from February 25 to March 3, 2019 by telephone survey of 2082 respondents in all regions of Ukraine, except the uncontrolled territories of Donetsk and Luhansk Oblasts, as well as the Autonomous Republic of Crimea. The error is ± 2.3%.
