The Forum of opposition forces was held in Kyiv. Presidential candidate from the OPPOSITION BLOC Oleksandr Vilkul was supported by the head of the “Strong Ukraine” party Svitlana Fabrykant, the leader of the “Christian Socialists” party Mykhailo Dobkin and the head of the executive committee of the “Party of Peace” social movement Maksym Goldarb.
They were the first to put their signatures under the “Joint Peace Initiative” developed by Vilkul — the road map for the development of Ukraine and the end of the war.
At the Forum, Oleksandr Vilkul said, “Our constituents expect unification, and the leadership of the country wants to shatter the opposition field. They know that in the second round I will win any representative of the authorities. Therefore, I call for the unification with us and the support of the “ Joint Peace Initiative” by all opposition politicians who support the peace and development of our country.”
The subscription lists of the “Joint Peace Initiative” were sent to the headquarters of all presidential candidates from the opposition forces by the participants of the Forum.
“I supported the proposals of Oleksandr Vilkul, joined the “Joint Peace Initiative” and will help him as a presidential candidate with all my strength and capabilities, and in the near future will help him as a president of our country to achieve peace and prosperity for people in all life directions of our immense big country,” Mykhailo Dobkin, leader of the “Christian Socialists” party said after the signing ceremony.
Starting today, any citizen of Ukraine can support the “Joint Peace Initiative” by signing special questionnaires in the offices of the “OPPOSITION BLOC – Party of Peace and Development” throughout the country.
The “Joint Peace Initiative” is aimed at restoring justice and punishing all those responsible for fueling the war and stealing the army.
The socio-economic part of the road map suggests combining efforts to restart the economy. A five-year plan to create new enterprises and millions of new high-wage jobs will enable this. The revitalization of the economy will increase budget revenues, which will become the basis for a real increase in pensions and social benefits.
“Those people who want to live in a peaceful, prosperous country, where our children are healthy and educated, where old people are protected, and most important thing, where the bloodshed is stopped from both sides, they should support the “Joint Peace Initiative” of Oleksandr Vilkul. Therefore, “Strong Ukraine”, without any doubt, made such a decision, and the “Joint Peace Initiative” was supported by us. The most important thing is that we are confident that after March 31 it will start working,” Svitlana Fabrykant, head of the “Strong Ukraine” party noted.
Sustainable development of the country without political crises and corruption at the highest levels will be ensured by a new Constitution, which will be adopted in a national referendum and will consolidate the non-aligned neutral status of Ukraine, following the example of Austria and Switzerland.
The peace plan provides that in the first days after the victory of Vilkul, the shooting will stop in the Donbas. It will take 6-8 months to achieve sustainable peace and return of the peaceful Donbas to the united Ukraine. For this, direct negotiations with the United States and Russia will be organized to adopt a joint resolution of the UN Security Council, on which no side will impose a veto. The resolution will provide for the introduction of a peacekeeping contingent, which will include friendly and neutral countries (Belarus, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Finland, Sweden, Austria).
In the territories beyond the control of Ukraine, a temporary international administration will start working under the auspices of the UN. Elections will be held on Ukrainian legislation with the participation of Ukrainian political parties, then they will be recognized by the whole world. In parallel, there will be the adoption of a package of draft laws according to the Minsk agreements, which the Ukrainian authorities were oblidged to adopt 4.5 years ago. The Donbas will be reintegrated, legal and economic conditions will be created for the return of refugees. To finance the restoration of the region, it is envisaged to create special conditions for attracting investments and establish an international donor club to finance specific projects.
