The staff of the Druzhkovsky Machine-Building Plant nominated the Prime Minister of the Oppositional Government, Borys Kolesnikov, as a candidate for people’s deputies in the 49th electoral district. Borys Kolesnikov thanked the machine builders for their trust and promised to do everything possible for the development of the region, successful and comfortable life of all residents of Donetsk Oblast.
According to the opposition Prime Minister, the engineering industry in Ukraine is going through hard times, largely due to the lack of guaranteed sales markets.
“The North of the Donbas is the engineering capital of Ukraine. Druzhkivka, Kramatorsk and other cities, of course, need new orders. Therefore, the task of machine builders is to produce modern competitive products, while the state is obliged to take care of new sales markets,” the Prime Minister of the Opposition Government said.
Borys Kolesnikov is sure that both these tasks can be accomplished, but for this, Ukraine must earn the trust of foreign and domestic investors. “There are no examples of successful agrarian countries in the world. Mechanical engineering is the locomotive of the economy, without it our country has no future,” the oppositionist emphasized.
According to Borys Kolesnikov, investments will come to Ukraine only if the rule of law is respected in the country and the tax system is modernized.
“5 years ago, the South Korean corporation Hyundai planned to build here a new plant for the production of electric locomotives and electric vehicles. Of course, if we return to this project, then both the plant and Druzhkivka have a great future. It is not even negotiable,” Borys Kolesnikov noted.
