The presence of amateurs in power has led to the fact that the current model of the Ukrainian energy market is totally outdated. This was stated by MP from the OPPOSITION BLOC Dmytro Kolesnikov following the results of meetings with the work teams of energy specialists of Dnipro and Novomoskovsk.

According to him, the energy sector of Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, as well as other Oblasts of Ukraine, daily face many problems, most of which relate to the competence of state bodies.

According to him, the amateurishness of the team of the authorities has led to the fact that the current model of the Ukrainian energy market is totally outdated. “DTEK enterprises are investing privately in investment in the renewal of their production base, and they are doing it quite successfully. But from the state, in particular the government, there is a lot of misunderstanding of the fundamental principles of operation of modern successful energy markets in European countries,” Dmytro Kolesnikov wrote on his Facebook page.

The MP stressed that Ukraine has an extremely high potential for growth in the energy sector. But illiterate government policy, he said, managed to create a whole range of problems that need to be addressed immediately by specialized experts.

According to the opposition politician, the development of industry and energy is possible only if Oleksandr Vilkul is elected President of Ukraine.

The parliamentarian noted that in the program “Peace and Development: Four Steps to Success,” the energy segment of the domestic economy was given special attention. “The implementation of the program involves the construction of new generating industries, the modernization of the existing infrastructure, as well as the development of alternative and small energy. All this will take a competitive position in the international economic arena. Ukraine can and will become a successful country!” Dmytro Kolesnikov concluded.
