Dmytro Kolesnikov: Peace in the Ukrainian land is the cornerstone of the Oleksandr Vilkul Programme

The contradictions of the promises of the current authorities with their real actions over the past five years have led Ukraine to war, economic decline and poverty of citizens. This was stated by MP from the OPPOSITION BLOC Dmytro Kolesnikov after a meeting with the party activists and residents of Dnipro.

According to the oppositionist, meetings with voters allowed to outline the circle of pressing problems that affect every Ukrainian. “People are worried about a lot of challenges an issues: starting from exorbitant monthly payments for housing and communal services and ending with the challenges of tax and customs regulation. The results of the activities of local and regional authorities were also discussed – no positive dynamics is observed,” the MP wrote on his Facebook page.

The parliamentarian pointed to the contradiction of the promises of the current authorities with their real actions over the past five years, which have led Ukraine to war, economic decline and poverty of citizens. “The authorities promised and declared a lot of things. But it turned out that they only lied their citizens. And millions of Ukrainians in every region of our country understand this perfectly,” he said. At the same time, the politician is convinced that even in this situation, it is still possible to return peace to Ukraine, and social guarantees, stability and success – to the citizens.

According to Dmytro Kolesnikov, one of the priorities of Oleksandr Vilkul and the OPPOSITION BLOC after winning the elections is to stop the war and return of IDPs home. At the same time, it is necessary to provide legal, social and financial conditions for their arrangement.

“Peace Donbass should once again become part of a united Ukraine. Oleksandr Vilkul says that peace
in the Ukrainian land is the cornerstone on which the state policy of any
government and President should be built. Peace for 100 days is real if we
start working constructively and fulfill the commitments taken by Ukraine under
international agreements,” the MP concluded.
