Borys Kolesnikov: The current authorities can already be morally prepared for the second Nuremberg process

The current Ukrainian authorities have historically and politically destroyed Ukraine, the Prime Minister of the Opposition Government, Borys Kolesnikov, said. According to him, with the last laws the parliament has almost destroyed the state and will bear responsibility for it.

“The authorities can already be mentally prepared for the Nuremberg process -2. They have completely historically and politically destroyed Ukraine. As for the current situation, holding re-elections will change nothing qualitatively,” the opposition prime minister said.

Borys Kolesnikov believes that currently the first thing is to adopt a new Constitution. “Three years ago we proposed the concept of a new Constitution. We believe that a compact parliament of 150 MPs in the lower chamber is necessary. The upper chamber should consist of direct representatives of civil society of two people per million voters. Thus, the country will boldly move forward. It is necessary to act simply, quickly and boldly. The core is not to reduce the number of MPs, but to improve the quality of the parliament,” the opposition prime minister explained.

According to Borys Kolesnikov, the Ukrainian opposition today is ready for parliamentary elections. “Any opposition has a direct task to win elections, to become a power and to build a country for which there will be no shame in the world. If you have noticed, the Ukrainian pro-government politicians are not invited to any country in the world. All talks about the EU referendum focus on one question. Does someone call us there? Since 2001, the same actors have cynically deceived the Ukrainian people. In order to hold a referendum on the EU, it is necessary to receive an invitation. All meaningful officials of the European Union said that this would happen no earlier than in 20-25 years,” Borys Kolesnikov concluded.
