Residents of the Donbas found themselves in the hardest conditions because of the fault of the current authorities, which have been violating their constitutional rights for five years. This was stated by the Prime Minister of the Opposition Government Borys Kolesnikov, commenting on the statement of the Deputy Minister for the temporarily occupied territories, Yuriy Hrymchak, who threatened the residents of the Donbas with the possible loss of Ukrainian citizenship.
According to Borys Kolesnikov, most of all, residents of the Donbas are threatened by the current Ukrainian authorities.
“For five years, the authorities did not provide constitutional rights of the citizens of Ukraine, who, through the fault of the authorities, found themselves in the most difficult situation in the Donbas. Instead of performing their direct duties, these people threaten our countrymen. I can safely say that nothing can threaten the residents of the Donbas more than the current authorities, to the disgraceful demise of which there are only a few days,” the Prime Minister of the Opposition Government noted.
Borys Kolesnikov is sure that the rights of the residents of the Donbas will be restored soon.
“There is no doubt that after the presidential and parliamentary elections all constitutional rights of Ukrainians living in temporarily uncontrolled territories, as well as the rights of any citizen of our country, no matter where he lives, will be protected by the Constitution and laws of Ukraine,” Borys Kolesnikov emphasized.
