Oleksandr Vilkul: Objectives of the OPPOSITION BLOC in the new parliament - cancellation of anti-popular “reforms”, reduction of tariffs, restoration of peace, growth of salaries and pensions

The parties that will ensure the policy of peace, development and social justice must enter the Verkhovna Rada. This was stated by one of the leaders of the OPPOSITION BLOC, Oleksandr Vilkul, speaking from the rostrum of parliament. “About a month left before the elections. And wise politicians should now discuss not only the specific week of the Verkhovna Rada’s work, but also the further development strategy of the country,” he said.

“It’s perfectly clear that the “Servant of the People” party will get a lot of votes, because people are now placing great hopes on the President for change for the better, and therefore it’s important to think about two things. First, one-party power should not be allowed. This has never ended in anything good in the whole history of mankind. Secondly, the primary task of the new parliament should be the cancellation of anti-popular “reforms”, reduction of tariffs, restoration of peace, introduction of real economic and humanitarian decentralization, support for industry, real growth of salaries and pensions,” the oppositionist said.

To this end, according to Vilkul, the OPPOSITION BLOC, bringing together local self-government leaders and industry specialists, is going to the new Verkhovna Rada.

“And for each direction, we have an action plan and developed draft laws. We represent the whole of Ukraine, protect our national interests and oppose our state being a colony of either America or Russia,” said the MP, stressing that parties that will provide a policy of peace, development and social justice should enter the Verkhovna Rada.

“And we guarantee that this will be the case. By voting for others, you create a real threat that the President will be held hostage by the Kremlin or the radicals,” Oleksandr Vilkul emphasized.
